Multiplying mixed numbers

First to multiply mixed numbers you need to make them improper fractions then multiply numberators divide denomnators.


Example: Miami won 5 1/3 games Alabama won 3 1/2 games multiplyed how many games have they won?

5 1/3 = 16/3 3 1/2 = 7/2   16x7= 112 3x2=6         112/6= 61/3= 20 1/3
